Bayard Blain
is all about making music. He is a talented
multi-instrumentalist and songwriter as well as a master
luthier. He builds beautiful custom acoustic instruments,
blending his love for playing music and his love of working
with wood. His guitars, mandolins, octave mandolins, and
bouzoukis are some of the finest instruments I have ever
held in my hands. If you visit his website you'll find an
impressive list of respected performers who play them. I own
three of his instruments myself, a guitar, a mandolin, and
an octave mandolin. Everywhere I go people are amazed by
their beauty, playability, versatility, and rich tone. I
have put together a few pictures of me playing my Bayard
instruments over the past year. I hope you enjoy them, and
